More cardinal inequalities in \(T_1/ Urysohn\) spaces (Q2329337)

Arhangel'skii's inequality \(|X|\le2^{L(X)\chi(X)}\) for Haudorff spaces from [\textit{A. V. Arkhangel'skij}, Sov. Math., Dokl. 10, 951--955 (1969; Zbl 0191.20903); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR 187, 967--970 (1969)] has inspired much research into generalizations to wider classes and sharper versions for narrower classes. For example, \textit{A. A. Gryzlov} [ibid. 21, 506--509 (1980; Zbl 0449.54005); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR 251, 780--783 (1980)] proved \(|X|\le2^{\psi(X)}\) for \(T_1\)-spaces, a partial step towards the solution of Arhangel'skii's question whether his inequality holds to those spaces as well. The present paper adds to these investigations by adding a list of inequalities for both \(T_1\)-spaces and Urysohn spaces.
