The authors study the radially blow-up solutions for the semilinear heat equation \(u_t=\Delta u+u^p\) on the hyperbolic space. More precisely, they studiy the blow-up solutions to the following problem \[ \begin{cases} u_t=u_{r r}+(n-1)\,\frac{\cosh r}{\sinh r}\,u_r+u^p,\quad 0<r,\infty,\,\,t>0,\\ u_r(0,t)=0,\quad t>0\\ u(r,0)=u_0(r)\ge 0,\quad 0<r<\infty. \end{cases}\tag{1} \] Thus, the authors prove that if \(p>1\), \(T\in(0,\infty)\) is the blow-up time of the solution \(u\) and \(r=0\) is not a blow-up point of \(u\) then \[ \limsup_{t\uparrow T}\,(T-t)^{1/(p-1)}\,\|u(\cdot,t)\|_{L^{\infty}}<\infty.\tag{2} \] Furthermore, if \(u\) is a positive solution of (1), \(1<p<p_s,\,\, (p_s=(n+2)/(n-2)\), if \(n\ge 3\) and \(p_s=\infty\) if \(n=2\)) and \(T\in(0,\infty)\) is the blow-up time of solution \(u\) then (2) holds. Also it shows that if \(u_0(r)\) is a bounded function whose support is compact and solution \(u\) of (1) blows up in finite time, then the blow-up set of \(u\) is also compact.
