This article presents the asymptotic behavior of traveling wave solutions to the equation of population dynamics \[ u_t(t, x) = u_{xx}(t, x)-u(t, x) + g(u(t-h,x)), \quad x\in\mathbb{R}, \quad t>0. \] Here, the delay \(h>0\) and the reaction term \(g:\mathbb{R}_+\rightarrow\mathbb{R}_+\) is Lipschitz continuous with exactly two fixed points, \(u\equiv0\) and \(u\equiv\kappa\) (\(\kappa>0\)). The author considers semi-wavefront solutions to the model problem. Instead of the classical KPP condition, i.e., \(|g'(u)| \le g'(0)\), for all \(u \ge 0\), the author assumes the Lipschitz constant \(L_g\) satisfies the monostability condition \(L_g \ge g'(0)>1\). When the Lipschitz constant \(L_g\) is equal to \(g'(0)\), the stability of all semi-wavefronts (e.g., critical, non-critical and asymptotically periodic semi-wavefronts) on any interval of the form \((-\infty,N]\), \(N\in\mathbb{R}\) is established. This includes equations the describe Nicholson's model. Under a certain non-KPP condition at \(u\equiv\kappa\), the derivative of \(g\) the global stability of fast semi-wavefronts is proved. Finally, one of the main results of this work is show the stability of semi-wavefronts with unbounded exponential weights. The conditions on the wave speed \(c\) and delay \(h\) are the same conditions that establish the uniqueness of semi-wavefronts in [\textit{M. Aguerrea} et al., Math. Ann. 354, No. 1, 73--109 (2012; Zbl 1311.45008)].
