This is a continuation of the authors' studies [ibid. 31, No. 4, 1839--1871 (2019; Zbl 1439.35491)] on chemotaxis systems for two species involving space- and time-dependent reaction terms. Some results on the asymptotic stability of coexistence states are shown. Part of these results is new even in the context of reaction-diffusion systems without chemotactic interactions.
