Free and non-free multiplicities on the \(A_3\) arrangement (Q2333389)

The authors develop new homological techniques in the theory of multi-arrangements and apply them to the \(A_3\) braid arrangements. Using these techniques, they classify all free and non-free multi-braid arrangements of the form \((A_3, m)\). In particular, they prove that all free multiplicities of \(A_3\) fall into two families that are aready known since they have been descibed by the work of \textit{T. Abe} et al. [Adv. Math. 215, No. 2, 825--838 (2007; Zbl 1123.52012)] and \textit{T. Abe} et al. [J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 80, No. 1, 121--134 (2009; Zbl 1177.32017)].
