    In this article, it is considered the following initial-boundary value problem in a separable Hilbert space \(H\) \[ \left( - \frac{\mathrm{d}^2}{\mathrm{d}x^2} + A^2 \right) {\left( \frac{\mathrm{d}}{\mathrm{d}x} + A \right)}^3 u(x) + \sum\limits_{j=1}^5 A_j \frac{\mathrm{d}^{5-j}}{\mathrm{d}x^{5-j}} u(x) = f(x), \ x \in \mathbb{R}\tag{1} \] \[ \frac{\mathrm{d}^s u(0)}{\mathrm{d} x^s}=0, s=0,1,2,3\tag{2} \] where \(A\) is a self-adjoint positively defined operator, \(A_j, j = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5\), are linear unbounded operators and \(f\) and \(u\) belong to appropriate Sobolev-type spaces. Presenting estimates of the norms of the intermediate derivative operators, the authors find solvability conditions for this problem.
