The aim of the paper is some generalisation of the classical Khinchin inequality. Namely, the main result of the paper is the following theorem. Let \(r_i(t)\), \(t\in[0,1]\), \(i=1,2,\dots\), be the sequence of Rademacher functions and let \(E\subset[0,1]\) be a subset of \([0,1]\) such that \(m(E\cap (a,b))>0\) for every interval \((a,b)\subset[0,1]\). Then, for arbitrary \(p>0\), there exists a constant \(\gamma=\gamma(E,p)>0\) such that for every sequence of scalars \(a_1, a_2, \dots\), \(\sum_{i=1}^\infty a_i^2<\infty\), the following inequality is valid: \[ \left(\int_E \left|\sum_{i=1}^\infty a_i r_i(t)\right|^p dt\right)^{1/p}\geq \gamma \sum_{i=1}^\infty a_i^2. \] A version of the weighted Khinchin inequality is obtained as well.
