On the density of the mass distribution of a string at the origin (Q2342944)

Let \(\{\lambda_{nj}\}_{n\geq 1}\), \(j=0,1,\) be the eigenvalues of the boundary value problems \[ y''+\lambda p(x)y=0,\; y^{(j)}(0)=y(L)=0,\; j=0,1. \] A generalization of the known relation \[ p(0)=(L^2\lambda_{11})^{-1}\prod_{n=1}^{\infty} \frac{\lambda_{n0}^{2}}{\lambda_{n1}\lambda_{n+1,1}} \] is given for the Krein's string.
