The authors study the initial value problem for the Korteweg de Vries equation on the torus of dimension 1. A measure \(\mu\) on the topological \(\sigma\)-algebra of the Sobolev space \(H^s\), \(s \geq 0\), is taken as an initial datum, and the action of the KdV flow \(\Psi(t)\) on this measure is studied, defined as \(\mu^t(A) = \mu(\Psi(t)^{-1} A)\) on every measurable set \(A\). The main result of the paper is the local Lipschitz continuity of the KdV flow with respect to the Wasserstein metrics on the measure spaces \(M_{s, p}\), where this metrics is defined. In conclusion, the construction of an invariant measure under the flow of KdV in \(M_{s, p}\), \(s < 1/2\), \(p < \infty\), is provided due to [\textit{J. Bourgain}, Geom. Funct. Anal. 3, No. 3, 209--262 (1993; Zbl 0787.35098)] and the authors prove that this measure is locally stable in time, as a corollary of the main result.
