The authors consider the weighted eigenvalue problem for the Laplacian in a mutli-dimensional domain with geometric perturbation of ``room-and-passage'' type. The boundary condition is the Neumann one. The domain is arbitrary and a part of its boundary is supposed to be a part of a hyperplane of codimension \(1\). To this hyperplane, a series of small domains are attached; the shape of these domains is a small channel connecting the original unperturbed domain with another small domain. The final form of these attached domain is like a small mushroom. The attached domains are small and closely spaced and they are described by a small parameter. As it goes to zero, the sizes of these domains become smaller as well as the distances between them, while their number increases. The entire structure is pure periodic. Each small domain depends on extra small parameters characterizing its various linear characteristics. The considered eigenvalue problem involves a weight at the spectral parameter and this weight is one on the original domain and is constant one the attached domains; this constant can depend on the small parameter. The main result provides the homogenized spectral depending on the geometry of the attached domain. It turns out that several various eigenvalue problem can arise and typically, they involve the spectral parameter both in the equation and the boundary condition; in the latter, it is involved similar to the the Steklov problem, but the dependence on the spectral parameter in the boundary condition can be nonlinear. One more interesting feature is that the eigenvalues of the limiting problem can accumulate to a finite point.
