If \(X\) is a non-compact hyperbolic Riemann orbisurface of finite volume \(\text{vol}_{\text{hyp}}(X)\) and genus \(g \geq 1\), it can be expressed as the quotient \(\mathbb{H}/\Gamma\) where \(\mathbb{H}\) is the hyperbolic upper half-plane and \(\Gamma\) is a Fuchsian group of the first kind. Two metrics are defined on \(X\). First, the hyperbolic \(\mu_{\text{hyp}}\) induced by the metric of \(\mathbb{H}\) which is re-scaled into \(\mu_{\text{shyp}}=\mu_{\text{hyp}}/\text{vol}_{\text{hyp}}(X)\). And second, the canonical \(\mu_{\text{can}}\) defined by the Abel-Jacobi map. The paper is devoted to study the Green's function \(g_{X,\mu}(z,w)\) defined on \(X \times X\) when \(\mu\) is one of the metrics \(\mu_{\text{shyp}}\) or \(\mu_{\text{can}}\). In particular, the author is interested in having an estimate of the difference \(g_{X,\text{hyp}}(z,w) - g_{X,\text{can}}(z,w)\). In order to get it, he obtains bounds for both Green's functions. Since \(\mu_{\text{hyp}}\) is singular at cusps and elliptic points, the estimates of the difference apply outside neighbourhoods of those points, but estimates for \(g_{X,\text{can}}(z,w)\) are also obtained at them.
