Association schemoids and their categories (Q2350091)

The association schemoids introduced here are intended to play the same relation to association schemes see \textit{R. A. Bailey} [Association schemes. Designed experiments, algebra and combinatorics. Cambridge Studies in Advanced Mathematics 84. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press (2004; Zbl 1051.05001)] as groupoids do to groups. The paper identifies groupoids with thin association schemoids and adapts Baues-Wirsching cohomology of groupoids to their schemoids. The reviewer feels that the promonoidal category viewpoint of \textit{B. Day} [``Monoidal functor categories and graphic Fourier transforms'' \url{arXiv:math/0612496}; ``Association schemes and classical RCFTs as graphic Fourier transformations'' \url {arXiv:math/0702208}] could be useful here.
