In this paper a generalized Favard-Szasz-Mirakjan-Faber operator attached to analytical functions of exponential growth in a continuum in \(\mathbb C\) is constructed, for which the approximation order \(\frac{b_{n}}{a_{n}}\) is obtained. Some concrete examples are also given. The obtained results are new and seem interesting.
