Let \((X,d)\) be a compact metric space without isolated points, and \(G\) be a topologically commutative group on \(X\). The following main result is stated and proved. Theorem. Suppose that the dynamical system \((X,G)\) is weakly mixing. Then, \((X,G)\) is Kato chaotic in the strong sense. Further aspects involving these notions are also discussed.
