Local constancy of dimension of slope subspaces of automorphic forms (Q2363193)

The author proves a higher rank analog of the Gouveâ-Mazur conjecture on the local constancy of slope subspaces of modular forms, thus of a result of \textit{D. Wan} [Invent. Math. 133, No. 2, 449--463 (1998; Zbl 0907.11016)]. Here the result is for automorphic forms of reductive algebraic groups having discrete series. The results are based upon the author's [J. Number Theory 133, No. 9, 3149--3182 (2013; Zbl 1304.11039); J. Number Theory 143, 46--61 (2014; Zbl 1385.11035)], and a trace formula of \textit{J. Bewersdorff} [Bonn. Math. Schr. 164, 124 S. (1985; Zbl 0589.12013)].
