The authors consider some specific nonlinear Schrödinger equations involving the fractional Laplacian and indefinite potentials, and are interested in the existence and the concentration phenomenon of least energy solutions in this case. Noteworthy that the authors consider their problem directly in the corresponding fractional Sobolev space without taking \(s\)-harmonic extensions and prove that the considered problem has a least energy solution which localizes near the potential well and changes sign for large parameters lambda. In the first part definitions of the fractional Laplacian and fractional Sobolev spaces are introduced. In order to proof the main result, the authors use some properties of a modified Nehari-Pankov manifold. The proof of existence of least energy solutions for the considered problem is given in the subcritical case and also in the critical case.
