Transversely complete Riemannian foliations with singularities (in the sense of \textit{P. Stefan} [Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 80, 1142-1145 (1974; Zbl 0293.57015)]) are considered. The main result provides different conditions equivalent to the local stability of a leaf \(L\) of such a foliation \(\mathcal F\).
