This is a very interesting paper concerning \(k\)-parameter families of germs of equivariant mappings introduced mainly by Golubitsky, Stewart and Schaeffer. In this context all the machinery needed for such a study is generalized and developed, and several known concepts are analyzed. More precisely, finite determinacy theorems or normal forms, stability of equivariant bifurcation problems, and structural stability of universal unfoldings are discussed.
