Basic analogs of the following important equations of mathematical physics are subjected to variable-separable method of solving differential equations and their solutions are obtained: i) \(q\)-heat, \(q\)-wave and \(q\)-Laplace equations, and also ii) \(q\)-Maxwell, \(q\)-Klein-Gordon and \(q\)-Dirac equations. The authors elegantly employ the classic method of solving DEs and put the solutions in terms of \(q\)-Fourier series. The method is fairly well-described and could be tried on `generalized versions' of these DEs.
