The author derives two real Paley-Wiener theorems in the setting of quantum calculus. The first one uses techniques due to \textit{V. K. Tuan} and \textit{A. I. Zayed} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 266, 200--226 (2002; Zbl 0998.44001)] in order to describe the image of the space \(L^2_q(0, R)\) under the \(q\)-Hankel transform of \textit{T. H. Koornwinder} and \textit{R. F. Swarttouw} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 333, 445--461 (1992; Zbl 0759.33007)] and contains as a special case a description of the domain of a \(q\)-sampling theorem associated with the \(q\)-Hankel transform [\textit{L. D. Abreu}, Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 133, 1197--1203 (2005; Zbl 1062.33015)]. The second characterizes the image of compactly supported \(q\)-smooth functions under a rescaled version of the \(q\)-Hankel transform and is a \(q\)-analogue of a recent result due to \textit{N. B. Andersen} [J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 12, No. 1, 17--25 (2006; Zbl 1100.44002)].
