On the splitting principle of bundle gerbe modules (Q2372387)

The work under review defines the twisted Chern classes and twisted Chern character for bundle gerbe modules. This is obtained in terms of algebraic topology, using a splitting of bundle gerbe modules (by line bundles). They obtain these splitting under certain conditions. The concept of twisted Chern character was considered in the work of \textit{P. Bouwknegt, A. L. Carey, V. Mathai, M. K. Murray}, and \textit{D. Stevenson} [Commun. Math. Phys. 228, No. 1, 17--45 (2002; Zbl 1036.19005)]. Here it is proved that they coincide. Besides the introduction the paper consists of two other sections. Section 2 contains a very helpful exposition about the bundle gerbes. In section 3 we have the main results were the splitting principle for bundle gerbe modules is obtained.
