Operations in the homology spectral sequence of a cosimplicial infinite loop space (Q2376580)

Let \(X\) be a cosimplicial object in the category of \(\mathcal C\)-spaces, where \(\mathcal C\) is a fixed \(E_\infty\) operad. Then the author gives a new proof that there are operations in the mod-2 homology spectral sequence \(E_{-s,t}^r\) associated to \(X\): \(Q^m: E^r_{-s,t} \to E^r_{-s,m+t}\) \((m\geq t)\); \(Q^m: E^r_{-s,t} \to E^w_{m-s-t,2t}\) \((m\in [t-s,t])\), where \(w=r\;(m=t-s); 2r-2\;(m\in [t-s+1,t-r+2]); r+t-m\;(m\in [t-r+3,t])\). To construct the operations, the author first constructs external operations whose target is the spectral sequence associated to \(E\Sigma_2\times_{\Sigma_2}(X\times X)\). Then by combining these external operations with the structure map \(E\Sigma_2\times_{\Sigma_2}(X\times X) \to X\) the internal operations \(Q^m\) are given.
