    Let \(\mathcal{H}\) be a complex Hilbert space and \(\mathbb{B}(\mathcal{H})\) be the set of all bounded linear operators on \(\mathcal{H}\). For \(A, B\in \mathbb{B}(\mathcal{H})\), define \(\text{Com} (A,B)=\{ X\in \mathbb{B}(\mathcal{H}): AX=XB\}\). A pair \((A,B)\) is said to have the FP-property if \(\text{Com}(A,B)\subseteq \text{Com}(A^{*},B^{*})\). The authors discuss relations between \(\text{Com}(A,B)\) and \(\text{Com}(\tilde{A}, \tilde{B})\), where \(\tilde{T}\) is the Aluthge transform of an operator \(T\). In fact, the authors obtain that (i) for invertible \(A,B\), if \((A,B)\) has the FP-property, then so does \((\tilde{A}, \tilde{B})\); (ii) if \((A,B)\) has the FP-property, then \(\text{Com}(A,B)\subseteq \text{Com}(\tilde{A}, \tilde{B})\), especially, if \(A\) is invertible and \((A,B)\) has the FP-property, then \(\text{Com}(A,B) = \text{Com}(\tilde{A}, \tilde{B})\). Lastly, the authors obtain that \[ \| \tilde{A}^{*}X-X\tilde{B}\|_{p}\geq 2a \| |A|^{\frac{1}{2}}X-X|B|^{\frac{1}{2}}\|_{p} \] for \(A,B,X\in \mathbb{B}(\mathcal{H})\), \(1\leq p\leq \infty\), \(a>0\), under some conditions on \(A,B\).
