In the \((2+1)\)-dimensional Broer-Kau-Kupershmidt equation \[ H_{ty}-H_{xxy}+2(HH_x)_y+\alpha G_{xx}=0,\quad G_t+\beta G_{xx}+2(HG)_x, \] where \(\alpha, \beta \in \mathbb{Z},\) the authors obtain sufficient conditions of the existence of the bounded travelling wave solutions, including periodic waves, solitary waves, kink or anti-kink solutions and investigate how these bounded travelling wave solutions arise, persist and disappear at the variation of parameters, i.e. their bifurcation behavior.
