It is well known that many results on the behavior of high-dimensional convex bodies can be extended to the class of log-concave measures. The purpose of the present paper is to generalize the results to the class of convex measures (or their subclasses of \(\kappa\)-concave measures), introduced by \textit{C.~Borell} in [Ark. Mat. 12, 239--252 (1974; Zbl 0297.60004)] and [Period. Math. Hung. 6, 111--136 (1975; Zbl 0307.28009)]. The main tool is the extension of the corresponding theorem of \textit{K.~Ball} [Stud. Math. 88, No. 1, 69--84 (1988; Zbl 0642.52011)], which assigns to every log-concave measure a certain convex body. Using his extension of the K.~Ball theorem, the author introduces an isotropic position for a convex measure (note that the Euclidean norm of a vector does not necessarily have a second moment with respect to such a measure) and generalizes a theorem of \textit{D.~Hensley} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 79, 619--625 (1980; Zbl 0439.52008)] on comparison of volumes of sections of a given isotropic convex body to convex measures (a generalization to the class of log-concave measures was done by K.~Ball). Then the author gives lower bounds on sizes of slices of convex measures, provides a possible approach to the isotropy in terms of floating bodies and surfaces of convex measures, and discusses duality and Santalo-type inequalities for densities of convex measures.
