The authors focus on the existence of periodic solutions of the following \(p\)-Laplacian neutral functional differential equation with multiple deviating arguments \[ (\varphi_p(x(t)-cx(t-\sigma))')'=f(x(t))x'(t)+\sum_{j=1}^n\beta_j(t)g(x(t-\tau_j(t))) +p(t) \] where \(\varphi_p:\mathbb R\to\mathbb R, \varphi(u)=| u| ^{p-2}u,\) \(f,g\in C(\mathbb R,\mathbb R)\), \(\beta_j(t), \tau_j(t), j=1,\dots,n\), \(p(t)\) are continuous \(T\)-periodic functions defined on \(\mathbb R\), \(\sigma, c\in\mathbb R\) are constant with \(| c| \not=1\). New sufficient conditions are established for the existence of \(T\)-periodic solutions by means of theory of coincidence degree.
