    Let \(A\) be an abelian variety with a \({\mathbb Z}_2\)-action given by the involution \(a\to -a\). The author proves that if two abelian varieties have equivalent derived categories then their quotients by the corresponding involutions also have equivalent derived categories (in the orbifold or stacky sense, as the quotients are singular). This result was known in the surface case [see \textit{S. Hosono, B. H. Lian, K. Oguiso} and \textit{S.-T. Yau}, Duke Math. J. 120, No.~3, 635--647 (2003; Zbl 1051.14046)]. The author also proves that the derived categories of twisted coherent sheaves on two Kummer surfaces associated to abelian surfaces \(A_1\) and \(A_2\) are equivalent if and only if \(A_1\) and \(A_2\) twisted by some classes in the Brauer group have Hodge isometric generalized transcendental lattices. This result was earlier known in the untwisted case.
