Equiprime, 3-prime and c-prime fuzzy ideals of nearrings. (Q2391228)

The notion of primeness for fuzzy ideals of near-rings is not new, but the approach of the authors to this topic is in the sense that they deal with fuzzy ideals with thresholds. This opens up more possibilities and leads to a wider and more interesting class of examples. The notions of primeness considered here are equiprime, \(3\)-prime and \(c\)-prime. As is to be expected, these prime fuzzy ideals are characterized in terms of the level subsets. A further characterization is given by using fuzzy points. A fuzzy coset determined by a fuzzy ideal with thresholds is defined and this leads to a corresponding quotient structure. The relationship between the fuzzy prime ideals and the related quotient structure is also investigated. The paper concludes with the definitions and first properties of the fuzzy prime radicals as intersections of fuzzy prime ideals. If, and how, the fuzzy prime ideals and radicals will contribute to structural properties of near-rings has not been considered.
