The choice of an appropriate basis of polynomials can help designers of curves and surfaces for specific purposes. This paper deals with the mutual conversion between different polynomial bases through the notion of dual basis. The considered bases are a new basis (Wang-Bézier basis) and the well known power basis and Bernstein basis. For example the authors obtain the Marsden identity which gives the conversion between the new basis and the power basis.
