Rank-two vector bundles on Hirzebruch surfaces (Q2392886)

The paper under review surveys some part of the theory of rank-2 vector bundles on Hirzebruch surfaces. The authors deals on stability with \textit{Z. Qin}'s notion of walls and chambers [J. Differ. Geom. 37, No. 2, 397--415 (1993; Zbl 0802.14005)]. Beilinson-type spectral sequence discovered by \textit{N. P. Buchdahl} [Math. Z. 194, 143--152 (1987; Zbl 0627.14028)] is also surveyed. Finally the authors discuss some properties of the moduli spaces of rank-2 bundles on Hirzebruch surfaces including their non-emptiness and rationality.
