Some open book and contact structures on moment-angle manifolds (Q2398341)

In Part I, the authors construct open book structures for all moment-angle manifolds (Theorems 1 and 2) and describe the topology of the their leaves and bindings under certain restrictions (Theorem 3). In Part II, they show that every odd-dimensional moment-angle manifold (as well as large families of intersections of quadrics, Theorem 5) admits a contact structure (Theorem 4). This is in contrast to the even-dimensional case, which in general does not admit symplectic structures.
