The authors consider non-degenerate centro-affine surfaces with the corresponding cubic form and induced connection. The first result of the paper says that if the cubic form is parallel, then the surface is necessarily contained in a quadric centered at the origin. For the second result, the authors consider the traceless part of the cubic form and the concept of recurrence. They prove that if the traceless part of the cubic form is recurrent relative to the induced connection, then the surface is ruled with zero Pick invariant and the curvature of the centro-affine metric equals to one.
