The author defines a (bounded) \(M\)-topological plane as a subspace \((X,\gamma_X)\) of the unbounded 2D \(M\)-topological plane \((\mathbb{Z}^2,\gamma)\) such that it is \(M\)-homeomorphic to the \(M\)-topological space \((D,\gamma_D)\), where \(D:=[-m_1,m_1']_{\mathbb{Z}}\times[-m_2,m_2']_{\mathbb{Z}}\), \(m_i,m_i'\in\mathbb{N}\), \(i\in\{1,2\}\) (here \(M\)- stands for Marcus-Wyse). He examines properties denoted as \(FPP\) (fixed point property) and \(AFPP\) (almost fixed point property) of \(M\)-topological spaces, \(M\)-topological planes and their Cartesian products, using \(M\)-retracts.
