In general, in the study of various triangulated category an important task is to establish correspondences between a triangulated category \(\mathcal{T}\) and the properties of the hearts associated to some \(t\)-structures of \(\mathcal{T}\). In the present paper the authors present characterizations of \(t\)-structures with Grothendieck hearts which constructed in compactly generated triangulated category. For instance, it is proved in Theorem 3.6 that a smashing \(t\)-structure has a Grothendieck heart if and only if it has the form \(({^{\perp_{\leq 0}}C}, {^{\perp_{> 0}}C})\), where \(C\) is a pure-injective cosilting object. If the \(t\)-structure is smashing and cosmashing, its heart is Grothendieck with a projective generator if and only if it is of the form \((T^{\perp_{>0}},T^{\perp_{\leq 0}})\) for a pure-projective silting object \(T\) (Theorem 3.7). These results were used together with a study of TTF-triples to prove that for any algebraic, compactly generated triangulated category, every nondegenerate compactly generated \(t\)-structure has a Grothendieck heart (Corollary 4.10).
