The paper deals with global regularity for the graph of solutions to the Dirichlet problem for the Monge-Ampère equation \[ \begin{cases} \det D^2v=1/|v|^{n+2} & \text{in}\;\Omega,\\ v=0 & \text{on}\;\partial\Omega, \end{cases} \] where \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^n\) is a bounded and uniformly convex domain. Due to the singularity on the right hand side of the equation, the gradient \(Dv\) necessarily blows up at \(\partial\Omega,\) and one cannot expect regularity of the solution \(v\) up to the boundary. However, it was proved by the first two authors [J. Differ. Geom. 93, No. 3, 431--469 (2013; Zbl 1278.35120)] that the graph \(\mathcal{M}_v,\) considered as a hypersurface in \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1},\) is \(C^{n+2,\alpha}\)-smooth up to \(\partial\Omega\) for each \(\alpha\in(0,1).\) Moreover, a compatibility condition ensuring higher regularity was found there. In the paper under review the authors verify that compatibility condition and obtain global \(C^\infty\)-regularity of the graph in the even dimensional case.
