The vacuum-gas interface problem of compressible isentropic Euler equations with damping are studied. The physical vacuum boundary is described, arising when study the evolution of gaseous stars. Standard methods for hyperbolic equations (Friedrichs-Lax-Kato) can not be used for the new regularity conditions on the sound speed near vacuum boundaries, considered in this paper. The main result is the global in time existence of solutions with higher-order regularity and ``the convergence to the Baranblatt self-similar solution'' (used for porous media flow). Spherical symmetry flows in 3D are considered. The singularities appearing in the neighborhood of the center of symmetry are overcome by using nonlinear weighted functionals, embedding estimates for weighted Sobolev spaces, elliptic estimates and energy estimates. A very interesting background concerning the local-in-time corresponding problem is given in the Introduction; the explicit solutions with spherical symmetry given in [\textit{T.-P. Liu} and \textit{T. Yang}, J. Differ. Equations 140, No. 2, 223--237 (1997; Zbl 0890.35111)] are described. A large list of references is given in the last part.
