In a recent paper, \textit{A. Arroyo} [C. R., Math., Acad. Sci. Paris 353, No. 10, 943--946 (2015; Zbl 1357.37063)] introduced a generalized version of the Gauss map based on generalized Lüroth expansions, and defined a corresponding generalization of Minkowski's questions-mark function. For these generalized question-mark functions he verified several properties which the classical question-mark function has as well. However, as the authors of the present article point out, there was a gap in the proof due the fact that these generalized question-mark functions have zero derivative almost everywhere. The authors fill the gap by giving two proofs of this fact in the present paper.
