The author studies the \(n\)-dimensional differential system \[ x'-x^{-1}Ay-q(x)y=\rho By \tag{1} \] on \([0,\infty)\). The complex matrices \(A\) and \(B\) are constant, have simple eigenvalues, \(A\) and \(q(x)\) are off diagonal, \(B\) is diagonal and \(q \in W^{1}_{1} [0,\infty)\). Some more restrictions are imposed on the eigenvalues of \(A\) and \(B\). One constructs a fundamental system of solutions of (1), called Weyl-type solutions, having specified asymptotics (depending on \(A\) and \(B\)) as \(x \rightarrow 0\) and \(x \rightarrow \infty\). As an application to the spectral theory one obtains an uniqueness result for the inverse scattering problem for equation (1).
