    Let \(\rho = \beta + i\gamma\) and \(\rho' = \beta' + i\gamma'\) denote generic complex zeros of \(\zeta(s)\) and \(\zeta'(s)\), respectively. Throughout the paper, the author assumes the Riemann hypothesis (RH), i.e., that \(\beta = 1/2\); (for all \(\rho\)). By a classical result of \textit{A. Speiser} [Math. Ann. 110, 514--521 (1934; Zbl 0010.16401)], the RH is equivalent to the fact that \(\beta' \geq 1/2\) (for all \(\rho'\)), which is used by the author. His main aim is to establish a local structure theorem for the zeros of \(\zeta(s)\) and \(\zeta'(s)\). His Theorem 2 says that there exists an absolute constant \(c>0\) such that, for any \(0 >v > c\) and all large \(\gamma\) with \(\gamma^+ - \gamma < v/\log \gamma\), the box \[ \Bigl\{\;s = \sigma + it\;:\;\frac12<\sigma < \frac12 + \frac{v^2}{4\log \gamma},\; \gamma\leq t \leq \gamma^+ \;\Bigr\} \] contains exactly one zero of \(\zeta'(s)\). Moreover this zero is not on the boundary of the box. Here, \(\gamma^+\) denotes the smallest ordinate of a zero \(\rho\) such that \(\gamma^+ > \gamma\). Theorem 3 says that, for \(\gamma \leq \gamma' < \gamma^+\), one has \[ \gamma^+ - \gamma \ll \sqrt{(\beta' - 1/2)\log\gamma'}. \] In particular, it follows that \[ \liminf_{\gamma'\to\infty,\beta'>1/2}(\beta' - 1/2)(\log\gamma')^3 = 0 \] implies \[ \liminf_{\gamma\to\infty}(\gamma^+ - \gamma)\log\gamma = 0. \] Theorem 3 suggests a repulsion phenomena for zeros of \(\zeta'(s)\). It suggests that \[ \beta' - 1/2 \,\gg\, (\gamma')^{-2/3+o(1)}\qquad(\beta' \neq 1/2, \,\gamma' \to \infty). \] The method of proof is, in part, based on the work of \textit{Y. Zhang} [Duke Math. J. 110, 555--572 (2001; Zbl.1012.11081)].
