A finiteness result for circulant core complex Hadamard matrices (Q2419015)

A Hadamard matrix of the form \[ \begin{bmatrix} 1 & 1 & 1& \ldots&1 \\ 1&x_0&x_1&\ldots&x_{n-2}\\ 1&x_{n-2}&x_0&\ldots&x_{n-3}\\ \vdots& \vdots&\vdots&\vdots&\vdots\\ 1&x_1&x_2&\ldots&x_0\\ \end{bmatrix} \] is called a circulant core matrix. The authors show that for every prime number \(p\) there exist finitely many circulant core complex Hadamard matrices of size \(p+1\).
