This paper provides proof details for a variant of the Wiener-Ikehara theorem for which, instead of the standard non-decreasing assumption on \(\phi\), the relevant function in the Wiener-Ikehara theorem, the function \(\phi\), is supposed to be non-increasing. In this case, however, one requires the additional hypothesis that there exists \(\nu > 0\) such that \(e^{\nu t} \phi(t)\) is non-decreasing. The proof is essentially a reduction to the ``standard'' Wiener-Ikehara theorem (Theorem 7.5.11 from [\textit{G. Tenenbaum}, Introduction to analytic and probabilistic number theory. Transl. from the 2nd French ed. by C. B. Thomas. Cambridge: Cambridge Univ. Press (1995; Zbl 0831.11001)]).
