      The paper deals with mapping properties of Marcinkiewicz integrals of type \[ Mf(x) = \Big( \int^\infty_0 \Big| \frac{1}{t^{\rho}} \int_{|y| \le t} \frac{\Omega (y) h(|y|)}{|y|^{n- \rho}} \, f \big( x - \Gamma (y) \big) \, dy \Big|^2 \, \frac{dt}{t} \Big)^{1/2}, \] $f \in S(\mathbb{R}^n)$, in the nowadays well-known spaces $F^s_{p,q} (\mathbb{R}^n)$ and $B^s_{p,q} (\mathbb{R}^n)$ and their homogeneous counterparts. Here $\Omega$, $h$, $\Gamma$ are given functions, where typically $\Omega$ is homogeneous of degree zero with \[ \int_{S^{n-1}} \Omega (u) \, d \sigma (u) =0 \] on the unit sphere $S^{n-1}$ in $\mathbb{R}^n$.
