Let \(\mathbb{D}\) be the unit disk in the complex plane, and \(H(\mathbb{D})\) be the space of holomorphic functions in the complex plane. The automorphism group \(\mathrm{Aut}(\mathbb{D})\) consists of all one-to-one analytic functions that map the unit disk onto itself; more precisely, \(\mathrm{Aut}(\mathbb{D})\) consists of functions of the form \[ \phi(z)=e^{i\theta}\frac{a-z}{1-\bar{a}z}=e^{i\theta}\sigma_a(z),\quad \theta\in\mathbb{R},\, a\in\mathbb{D}. \] Let \(X\) be a linear space of analytic functions on the unit disk that is complete with respect to its norm (or semi-norm) \(\|\cdot\|_X\). The space \(X\) is called Möbius invariant if for each \(f\in X\) and each \(\phi\in \mathrm{Aut}(\mathbb{D})\) we have \(f\circ\phi\in X\) and \(\|f\|_X=\|f\circ\phi\|_X\). It is well known that the Bloch space \(\mathcal{B}\), as well as the BMOA (the space of analytic functions with boundary values of mean oscillation) are Möbius invariant (see [\textit{A. Baernstein II}, in: Aspects of contemporary complex analysis, Proc. instr. Conf., Durham/Engl. 1979, 3--36 (1980; Zbl 0492.30026)], [\textit{D. Girela}, in: Complex function spaces. Proceedings of the summer school, Mekrijärvi, Finland, August/September 1999. Joensuu: Joensuu University, Department of Mathematics. 61--170 (2001; Zbl 0981.30026)]). The space \(Q_p\) for positive \(p\) is known to be Möbius invariant too [\textit{R. Aulaskari} et al., Analysis 15, No. 2, 101--121 (1995; Zbl 0835.30027)]; we recall that a function \(f\in H(\mathbb{D})\) belongs to \(Q_p\) if \[ \|f\|^2_{Q_p}=\int_\mathbb{D}|f^\prime(z)|^2(1-|\sigma_a(z)|^2)^p dxdy<\infty. \] Let \(X\) be a Banach space of analytic functions on the unit disk that contains the constants. In [Complex Variables, Theory Appl. 49, No. 7--9, 487--510 (2004; Zbl 1076.30037)], \textit{A. Aleman} and \textit{A.-M. Simbotin} introduced the Möbius invariant space generated by \(X\) (and denoted it by \(M(X)\)) consisting of all functions \(f\in H(\mathbb{D})\) such that \[ \|f\|_{M(X)}=\sup\{ \|f\circ \phi-f(\phi(0))\|_X:\, \phi\in \mathrm{Aut}(\mathbb{D}\}<\infty. \] It is well known from the papers of Baernstein [loc. cit] and \textit{G. Bao} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 466, No. 2, 1359--1372 (2018; Zbl 1407.30030)] that \(\mathrm{BMOA}=M(H^p)\) and \(\mathcal{B}=M(A^p)\), where \(H^p\) denotes the Hardy space, and \(A^p\) is the Bergman space. This means that the Bloch space and the BMOA have different generators. The main objective of the paper under review is to find analytic function spaces that generate the space of bounded analytic functions \(H^\infty\). To this end, the author considers a finite positive Borel measure \(\mu\) on the unit disk and two positive numbers \(p,s\). Then the author defines \[ U_{\mu, s}(z)=\int_\mathbb{D}(1-|\sigma_z(w)|^2)^sd\mu(w), \] and the weighted Bergman space \(A^p_{\mu,s}\) consisting of the functions \(f\in H(\mathbb{D})\) satisfying \[ \|f\|^p_{A^p_{\mu,s}}=\frac{1}{\pi}\int_{\mathbb{D}}|f(z)|^p\frac{U_{\mu, s}(z)}{(1-|z|^2)^2}dxdy<\infty. \] These weight functions were already known (see the papers of Bao [loc. cit.] and of \textit{G. Bao} et al. [Can. Math. Bull. 60, No. 4, 690--704 (2017; Zbl 1386.30053)]). By the way, to avoid getting trivial spaces, one has to assume that \(\mu\) satisfies the condition \[ \int_{\mathbb{D}}\frac{U_{\mu, s}(z)}{(1-|z|^2)^2}dxdy<\infty. \] The main result of the paper under review, Theorem 2.2, states that \(H^\infty\) is generated by the weighted Bergman spaces \(A^p_{\mu,s}\) for \(p\) positive and \(s\) bigger than \(1\), that is, \(H^\infty=A^p_{\mu,s}\).
