The main theorem of the paper gives a characterization for the convergence of the series representing an accumulated effect function to a periodic function. In another theorem of the paper the author discusses the same problem when the accumulated effect function is generated by a bounded non-increasing isolated effect function. Several examples as well as some applications of the theorems studied are given.
