Constant-sign solutions of systems of higher order boundary value problems with integrable singularities (Q2426074)

The authors consider several systems of boundary value problems, where the nonlinearities may be singular in the independent variable as well as in the dependent arguments. By using Schauder's fixed point theorem, they establish criteria such that the systems of boundary value problems have constant-sign solutions. This work generalize those for scalar second order problems in three main directions: (i) systems are considered, (ii) higher order and more general boundary conditions are considered, (iii) the existence of constant-sign solutions are proved.
