In this paper, the authors consider the Kadison-Singer lattice \(\mathcal L\) generated by a nontrivial nest \(\mathcal N\) on a separable infinite dimensional Hilbert space \(\mathcal H\) and a rank one projection \(P_{\xi}\) determined by a separating vector \(\xi\) for the von Neumann algebra \(\mathcal N^{\prime\prime}\) and the corresponding Kadison-Singer algebra alg\(\mathcal L\). It is shown that the subalgebra generated by the rank one operators in alg\(\mathcal L\) is not weak-\(*\) dense in alg\(\mathcal L\) if the immediate predecessor \(I_{-}^{\mathcal N}\) of \(I\) in \(\mathcal N\) equals \(I\), but is weak-\(*\) dense if \(I_{-}^{\mathcal N}<I\). The authors also show that for nonzero \(T\in\text{alg}\mathcal L\), \(T\) is a single element if and only if \(T\) is of rank one. Finally, the authors show that, if for any \(P\in \mathcal N\backslash\{0,I\}\) and for each pair of vectors \(x,y\) in \(P\), there exist \(A_1,A_2\in\text{alg}\mathcal L\) and \(z_0\in P\) such that \(A_1z_0=x\) and \(A_2z_0=y\), then every algebraic automorphism of alg\(\mathcal L\) is quasi-spatial.
