Let \(P_0(\tau,z):=(\tau-\lambda(z))^2+D(z)+\Lambda_0(z)+C_0\), \((\tau,z)\in\mathbb C\times\mathbb C^n\), where \(\lambda\) is a real linear form, \(D(z)=\sum_{j=1}^md_jz_j^2\) is a quadratic form with \(d_j\neq0\), \(j=1,\dots,m\), \(0\leq m\leq n\), \(\Lambda_0(z)=\sum_{j=m+1}^nl_jz_j\) is a complex linear form, and \(C_0\in\mathbb C\). Put \(V=V(P_0):=P_0^{-1}(0)\). Let \(\sigma_\alpha(t):=t^\alpha\), \(0<\alpha<1\), and \(\sigma_0(t):=\log(1+t)\), \(t\geq0\). Suppose that \(\omega(\tau,\zeta)=\omega_1(\tau)+\omega_2(\zeta):=\sigma_{\alpha_1}(|\tau|)+\omega_{\alpha_2}(|\zeta|)\), \((\tau,\zeta)\in\mathbb C\times\mathbb C^n\), where \(\alpha_1,\alpha_2\in[0,1)\). We assume that if \(\alpha_2=0\), then \(\alpha_1=0\). We say that \(V\) satisfies PL\((\omega)\), if there exists an \(A>0\) such for all \(u\in\mathcal{PSH}(V)\), if \(u(\tau,\zeta)\leq|\text{Im}\tau|+|\text{Im}\zeta|+\omega_1(\tau)+\omega_2(\zeta)\) and \(u(\tau,\zeta)\leq\alpha_u(|\text{Im}\zeta|+\omega_1(\tau)+\omega_2(\zeta)+1)\), \((\tau,\zeta)\in V\), with \(\alpha_u\geq1\), then we have \(u\big(\tau,\zeta)\leq A(|\text{Im}\zeta|+\omega_1(\tau)+\omega_2(\zeta)+1\big)\), \((\tau,\zeta)\in V\). We say that \(V\) is hyperbolic for \(\omega\), if there exists a \(C>0\) such that \(|\text{Im}\tau|\leq C(|\text{Im}\zeta|+\omega_1(\tau)+\omega_2(\zeta)+1)\), \((\tau,\zeta)\in V\). In the main theorem the authors prove that the following conditions are equivalent: (1) \(V(P_0)\) satisfies PL\((\omega)\); (2) \(V(P_0)\) is hyperbolic for \(\omega\); (3) \(D\) is negative semidefinite and one of the following conditions holds: - \(\Lambda_0\equiv0\), - \(\Lambda_0\not\equiv0\), \(\exists_{\xi\in\{0\}\times\mathbb R^{n-m}}\): \(\Lambda_0(\xi)\neq0\), \(\lambda(\xi)=0\), and \(\alpha_2\geq1/2\), - \(\Lambda_0\not\equiv0\), \(\forall_{\xi\in\{0\}\times\mathbb R^{n-m}}\): (\(\Lambda_0(\xi)\neq0 \Longrightarrow \lambda(\xi)\neq0\)), and \(\max\{\alpha_1,\alpha_2\}\geq1/2\).
