Approximation of the Bitsadze-Samarskii inverse problem for an elliptic equation with the Dirichlet conditions (Q2435151)

The authors consider the Bitsadze-Samarskii inverse problem and try to find the solution in a complex Banach space. The authors start with proving the existence and uniqueness of the equivalent direct problem. After then, the analysis on the inverse problem follows, which shows that the unique solution of the inverse problem exists. Furthermore, they give the analysis on distretization of operators, e.g., consistency, stability, and convergence. They end their work with giving the discretized inverse problem set, whose discrete solution converges to the one of the original inverse problem.
