In [J. Funct. Anal. 261, No. 10, 2877--2889 (2011; Zbl 1228.42033)] the second author (using Beurling densities) proved that for absolutely continuous measures \(du =g(x) dx\), if there exists a Fourier frame, then the function \(g\) must be bounded by both sides on its support. In this paper, the author gives another approach to prove this theorem. The authors also prove a conjecture in [\textit{Y. Liu} and \textit{Y. Wang}, Adv. Comput. Math. 18, No. 2--4, 345--355 (2003; Zbl 1019.42023)] for a non negative function \(g\) which is a compactly supported function.
