    Let \(D\) be a domain in \(\mathbb {C}^n \times \mathbb {C}\), locally defined by \(\rho (z, w) < 0, \) where \[ \rho = - \Im w + \varphi (z, \overline {z}, \Re w) \] and \(\varphi\) is a real-valued \(C^{\infty}\)-function such that \(\varphi| 0 = 0\), \(d \varphi| 0 = 0.\) Let \(A^k (D)\) be the algebra of holomorphic functions on \(D\) such that they belong to the class \(C^k\) on \(\partial D, 0 \leq k \leq + \infty.\) \(\zeta_0 \in \partial D\) is a peak point if there exists a function \(f \in A^k (D)\) such that \[ f (\zeta_0) = 1, \quad | f (\zeta)| < 1 \forall \zeta \in \overline {D} \setminus \{\zeta_0\}. \] \(H\) is a supporting manifold to \(D\) at \(\zeta_0\) if it is a complex manifold of codimension 1 such that locally \[ \overline {D} \cap H = \{\zeta_0\}. \] The author gives the characterization of the existence of a supporting manifold to \(D\) at the origin in terms of the function \(\rho.\) It is a new result for the case of domains not necessarily pseudoconvex.
